Dr. Arif Ahmed of Cambridge University is a philosophy professor and atheist. Here he debates Gary Habermas of Liberty University over the validity of Jesus rising from the dead.
Ahmed's first argument undercuts basically every argument for the probability that the resurrection happened on the basis of historical "facts" Christians often bring up. Even without questioning those facts or going into the contradictions and other problems with the texts, arguing in terms of probability ensures that the resurrection proponent will never be able to establish that real magic occurred, rather than an unlikely (but natural) explanation.
